The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an international organization that brings people together to find solutions which promote responsible stewardship of the world's forests.

DIS-TRAN Wood Products uses Controlled Wood which is material that has been verified as having a high probability of including wood from any of the following categories:

 

  • Legally harvested wood
  • Wood harvested in regulation of traditional and civil rights
  • Wood harvested in forests where high conservation values are protected by management activities
  • Wood harvested in forests being preserved for forest use
  • Wood from forest in which genetically modified trees are not planted
